Eating healthy

Many women believe that skipping breakfast or lunch won't hurt them - and by not eating they may lose a few pounds, but this is where they're mistaken.

Skipping meals does not, in any shape or form, help you lose weight. When you starve your body, it knows very well that it is not getting any food, so the next time you eat, your body will store more than usual, because now it is not certain of when it will be replenished again.

Our bodies are very intelligent, and we can try to fool it, but rarely can we be successful. The truth is that in order to have a healthy, fit body, there is nothing short of eating healthy and exercising on a regular basis.

Sure, we would all like to take a magic pill and wake up 20lbs. lighter, but there is no healthy of way of doing so. Many commercials on TV try to fool us into believing that if we take their pill, we can lose those extra pounds, but the fine print will tell you that you still need to eat a healthy, balanced diet and exercise regularly - which means if you do so, you don't need the pills to begin with!!

But eating, and not skipping meals, is very important. More than looking good we want to be healthy, so eat 4-5 meals a day, and be sure to include all your fruits and veggies!
